CD – Being

     This is a beautiful eight track CD from Dustin James, stately and reflective.

There are many instruments used on the various tracks, including piano, violin, harp, trumpet, English horn, and sax, along with guitar, bass, and drums. Everything is added with a light touch, however.

This CD has a dreamlike quality, with James singing slowly whether he is backed by a band or with an orchestral arrangement. The horns and strings give the songs a classical quality that fits James’s lush imagery.

This is a singer/songwriter that has something different to offer.
