The South of Heaven Band (Ashland, KY) and Skydog Music
Production (Laurens, SC) proudly announces the band's
first appearance in Columbia, SC. The shows will take
place at Teufel's Tavern on November 15 and 16, 2002.
Teufel's Tavern is a newly opened hotbed of live music
located on Long Creek Dr near Broad River Rd. Shows will
start at 9:00pm both nights. Call Teufel's Tavern at (803)
361-8508 for more information. The South of Heaven Band is
widely known as "The New Breed" of Southern Rock
and Outlaw Country. They have scored # 1 positions on the
Southern Rock and Alternative Country charts of internet
music sites MP3.com and SoundClick.com in recent months.
The band has opened for famed outlaw music icon David
Allan Coe and Southern Rockers The Winters Brothers Band,
among others. Music critics have described their music as
"Lynyrd Skynyrd meets Waylon Jennings with a little
AC/DC thrown in for good measure." They have been
courted by several major record labels, but prefer to
maintain their Outlaw image and remain independent
artists. If you're tired of the same ol' cover bands and
