His professional talent as an singer/musician/writer/performer mixed with the excellent material of 'ICU in Dandylions' can put a smile on your heart and yet at the same time cause you to shed a tear. That is how heartfelt this music is....... Ray Hartman brings to BrokenNess his groovin' bass expertise, providing that in-the-pocket right on bass playing, vocals and keyboards. Excellent work Ray!!........ Dane Estepa provides the solid-in the pocket drum action beats, percussion and vocals of BrokenNess. This group has the most spectacular dynamics I have ever seen, this is what BrokenNess is all about.
With additional musicians: Chris Lund - 12 string acoustic guitar. Barry Torrence - Keyboards/Organ. Dave Burr - keyboards. Todd Ensminger - loops/marching snare drum. Jay Mabin - harmonica. Gary Shellheimer - Congas. Dave Ensminger - Backup vocals/keyboards.

To name just a few, otherwise I would be listing the whole CD as my favorite: 'Mr. Indecision' will start you off loving this group...'Junkie' along with everything else has some rich keyboard action... 'Selfish Sadness' has a hot harmonica that got my attention real quick...'Grain of Sand' shows some awesome love for a child...'Look at Me' was one of my favs, gave me chills and tears all at the same time...'The Ocean makes her Cry (Tara)' has those beatle overtones with a BrokenNess kick...'In a Song' has a spectacular and loving end. Pay attention - you'll hear the love...'ICU in Dandylions' will touch your heart and soul, the vocals and music is packed full of love.
