CD Reviews  Catawompus The Slam Bam Jam

Catawompus has a kickin' sound that will kick start any listeners love of music. They will surprise you with what they have to offer. On their 'The Slam Bam Jam' CD, most of the songs have that country sound, except for one thing, each and every song is a kicker.

Catawompus' diversified capabilities is what caught my attention, infact they are so diversified that you might think you are hearing Garth Brooks, George Jones but you're not, it's Catwompus coming at you hard and strong.
Catawompus comes to the music scene with some of the hottest musicians. Lead guitar action is hot and smokin' and knows just where they are going. And having two lead guitars, they are never overriding each other and that folks is due to 200% professionalism.

The keys are excellent, love those keyboards! The rhythm section is solid, in the pocket, and possesses superb dyamics. The vocals are strong, spectacular range of level. This group definitely has the musicianship, talent, songwriting abilities to have their name up in lights and wear that diamond studded 'Stardom Badge' everywhere they go. And the names on those badges will be: Jason Whitmore - lead vocals/acoustic guitar.....Douglas Gery - guitars/backup vocals.....Chris Howell - guitars.....Danny Cee - bass guitar.....Nick McDermott - keyboards/backup vocals.....Ruben MakePeace - drums..

You can hear the professionalism of Catawompus in: 'Heartland' - that has a country feel along with a southern rock kick that you can hear and feel, this is a dyn-o-mite track to start this CD off with.....'Back to the Swing of Things' has vocals with a Garth Brooks-like sound....'Slam Bam' is a totally awesome kicker with a cajun country feel. Excellent!

Don't take my word on this, go straight to the Catawompus Website at: http://www.catawompus.com
for your own spin on 'Slam Bam Jam' CD's.

Warning: This CD is a WILD and HOT RIDE....
