‘Seven Dials’ is CD full of romantic Love ballades and they are really rich and powerful in lyrics. You will not just get touched with it, you will also see into Rod’s heart and soul. You will find out more about him and what kind of sweet person he is, person who’s gentle, romantic voice will put you on a day dreaming and made you long for a real love, love that he is offering you on his CD. His message is full of optimism, bright future, happiness and great moments, even when you should be down. ‘Seven Dials’ has 9 songs and there were 5 musicians who worked on it, with Rod and those are:
Eric “Gus” Smith: Acoustic and Electric Guitars
Scott Horwath: Keyboards
Brad Baker: Drums
Rose Oyamot: vocals on ‘Robins and Blackbirds’, ‘Electric Air’ and ‘Wonderland’
Jerry Fess: Cello on ‘Wonderland’

Rod touches love in each and every song, but in special ways. In ‘Strife’ he is sad, because everything around him is sad and lonely, but on the end, because of his dreams, because of the sun, which makes them shine even more, he sees the future. He sees the hope. I really like his end when he says, “ What first attracts the casual mind, what first attracts it every time is still the vision of love that falls.”
‘Electric Air’ is a song of more meanings. For me is past, that brings me into the future. There is nothing I can do about the past, I can think about it, I can dream about it, how I would like to change it, but ‘Electric Air’ will wake me up and tell me, that there is nothing I can do about the past. I can’t change it. I can just keep going and change the future.
In ‘Take What I Can Get’ Rod expresses a love, to a person, with whom he wants to be. And he will take even a second, as long as he can be with her. He found a world in her. He found his life, his desire, a true meaning.

These are just few of great songs that are really prosperous in all the ways as they should be, music gives them a power that they need, to make you feel them with your heart, your soul and mind. To discover your love, your dreams, desires, meaning of your life.
