Press Release  King Karma King Karma

FINALLY, A NEW BAND WHO PLAYS THE KIND OF HARD ROCK THAT PEOPLE ARE ALMOST DYING OF STARVATION FOR……............ WELCOME TO THE SOUND OF KING KARMA!

When you think back on classic, defining rock & roll moments, from a Jimmy Page riff to a soul-piercing Bon Scott scream, virtually all of them are larger-than-life, impossible to ignore.

That kind of scope is evident throughout the self-titled debut CD by KING KARMA, a band clearly passionate about creating those kinds of moments.

"It's not hard to figure out what we were listening to coming up, so anything we create will always be a reflection of that. But, what we create, we create honestly and we try to take it to the next level, respectfully."
Shaun Williamson - Lead Singer for King Karma

Based out of Vancouver, Canada KING KARMA garnered the attention of famed producer Jimmy Johnson and Steve Melton (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Cry Of Love), who flew the boys to Muscle Shoals and recorded the quartet’s awe-inspiring debut. Combining the astounding talents of vocalist Shaun Williamson from Tallahassee, Florida and Canadians, Markus Wolfe on guitar, bassist Todd Ronning and drummer Rick Fedyk. KING KARMA’s debut has received serious airplay all over the Internet, generating rave reviews and winning over new fans throughout the world. WiTR listed the band’s disc in the top ten best CD releases of 2003. Their song "Into The Everlast" was voted "Track of the Day" over 6,000 other hard rock hopefuls on Garageband.com. The band has recently signed with Z Records, a UK Label, who are very excited about KING KARMA’s prospects in the European market. The European release is slated for May 10th. The buzz on the band is growing fast and appears to have no borders or boundaries. All this and KING KARMA still remains an Independent Artist in North America. It seems odd that a band of the clear ability of KING KARMA remain as yet without a deal in the USA, but surely that oversight should be rectified soon.

As of late, the band has been playing live showcases close to home, leaving a trail of blown away fans in their wake, while gearing up for that inevitable next step to world wide touring. Independent sales of their debut CD have been escalating as news of the band continues to spread. The road ahead for the band is becoming clearer with each passing day, leaving all those surrounding them with a feeling of excitement and anticipation of what’s to come!
