Living Strange:

CD - 'How Do I Take Too Long From Here'

Mary Rudy, http://www.muzikreviewz.com

Living Strange is the hottest powered up trio source that I have heard in awhile. One listen to their CD ‘How Do I Take Too Long From Here’ and they will pull you in quick and hard but they don’t stop there. They hang on tight till they are ready to release you from their grasp. You are totally under their control. And believe me this is one time that controlling is enjoyed.

Living Strange is a combination of superb vocals mixed with spectacular musicianship. The vocals are exceptional; I mean these vocals are amazing. Strong, vibrant, sexy on a high-low range with plenty to spare over and over. The guitar action is totally awesome, all in the right place and so so hot. The bass is strong and out there, the most powerful bass action I have ever heard, in the pocket and in tune with the drummer like it should be. The drums beat for beat matching the bass every step of the way, you will catch a bit of the drums on their own that will give you the chills. This is a combination that catches your attention really fast. This group has tight dynamics as a band, infact I can’t imagine them getting any tighter, the sounds coming from these instruments are crisp, clear and when need be they are up front with out walking all over each other. These musicians are professionals through and through.

Each and every song is branded in your head, you can’t get it out. The songs keep playing on and on forever in your brain long after the music is gone. It is nothing for Living Strange to take you to the edge and just as you think you’re in for a long hard fall, they grab you and pull you back ever so gently. Man what an experience and beautiful feeling.

That powerful trio of Living Strange consists of: Evan Lazarus – vocals and guitar…..Marc Malitz – bass and background vocals…..Ron Nuttall – drums and percussion.

The excellent songs that we recommend to all are: ‘Anew!.....’Living Strange’…..’Nom De Plume’…..’Say It Again’……’Me Over Him’.
