Rebel Train ~  CD - 'No Stopping Now'

Mary Rudy, http://www.muzikreviewz.com

Rebel Train and their ‘No Stopping Now’ CD is a well oiled rockin’ machine AND a force to be reckoned with.

This CD is excellent on all aspects, from the songwriting to the musicianship to the vocals to the production of this project. And in this review we plan on tapping into some of this high caliber professionalism.

The first thing you will notice right off at the beginning of this cd is the strength behind the vocals of Steve Kyle. On a scale of 1-10, I would give him a 20+, this artist has a voice that makes the listener sit up and take notice. Kyle’s sustaining power gives you goose bumps through and through. He will grab you hard. Hold on tight for the ride!

The expertise of the guitar ship on this CD is Hot, Clear, Crisp and will grab your heart and soul, which in the end pulls you in. These two guitar slingers, Steve Kyle and Barry Hollander, are the tops in their field. You just can’t get enough of that axe-tion, grabbing your heart and soul isn’t the only thing that will happen, Rebel Train gets in your blood. Just can’t get enough!

Now lets get to the rhythm section of this turbo-Rebel Train. The bass and drums are supercharged and definitely the heart of this group and just like any healthy heart these two musicians just keep it pumping hard and strong. The heart pounding responsibilities belong to the one and only Nathan Floyd on bass and Bob Taylor on drums. With each and every beat and/or lick they deliver crisp, clear and in the pocket sounds and along with that the whole band has supreme dynamics all through this cd. Lets not forget the out of this world harmonica playing coming from Steve Kyle and the Jaw Harp of Bob Taylor. My kind of music, Dirty, Mean and Hot!

Hot Picks are: ‘No Stopping Now’, ’You Cant Knock Me Down’, ’Drink My Wine’……just some that caught my attention real quick, although every song deserves a mention in this review. You make your own opinions.

The bottom line here is that the Rebel Train delivers the best superb music that you will hear. The musicianship matches the vocal intensity with every note played and every note sung. Make sure you scoot on over to the Rebel Train Website at http://www.rebeltrain.com  for your own listening pleasures, you won’t be sorry.
