I knew from the beginning that
XPELD's new CD 'Just Don't Stop Me'
was going to be xplosive, but I wasn't aware
just how deep that xplosion would affect me as a
writer and a listener. I honestly believe that
XPELD has outdone themselves on this cd project.
I had the honors of reviewing their other CD 'When
Your Different You Are',
now the new one and I was not prepared at
all of what I was about to hear.
Let me make a personal note here regarding this
CD, this cd is powerful, the entire cd had me on
an wild emotional ride with song after song.
Every song has a force behind it, it chilled me
to the bone, vocals are absolutely awesome, Jeff
Lenhart possesses a magnificent range, in my
opinion there is nothing any better than a
singer that possesses the scratchy-raspy tones
and all at the same time hits those highs
without even straining those beautiful vocal
chords, and that is what tells me that an singer
has what it takes to belt out anything his heart
desires. This is totally talent, and Jeff
Lenhart has that talent in every part of his
being. And vocals aren't his only talent, this
lead guitar player, takes you through every
emotion with every single note and lick he plays
on his axe.
I am quite aware that there are many many
musicians that are excellent at what they do,
but in all honesty Jeff
Lenhart, Andy Sheer and Scott Karr is
right up there with the best of all of them.
These three magnificent musicians has the most
extraordinary talents you will ever see. Each
one compliments the other, and they are the one
and only reasons why XPELD XPLODES
every time they step onto the stage. Now for
what the other two musicians brings into this
group, Andy brings to Xpeld his
bass groovin musicianship where you will hear
every note, lick, he plays in the pocket and his
notes are crisp and clear. This is the most
amazing bassman I have seen or that you will
ever see or hear. Scott brings in the
drum action, and let me tell you, this drummer
is solid, in the pocket, you can't keep from
noticing all his beats and action on that drum
kit of his. Every beat is clear and you talk
about turbo power, will Scott is the turbo-man
when it comes to the beats.

And when you put these three musicians together
what do you have? you have three musicians that
are HOT, WILD AND BIG TIME
MEAN METAL ROCKIN' MACHINES.
Even tho each and every tune on this CD deserves
all the praise and my reviewing attention, I
would not want to spoil anything for the
listener. I will share my thoughts on a few of
the tracks that totally caught my attention and
they are: Track 3: Why
Try.....the vocals are strong,
raspy with a driven force and then Jeff takes
you back to softness that totally xplodes the
heart and soul.
Track 5: Jenny.....this
is where the CD title comes in. This track
really kicks. The lead solo will grab you hard -
it's telling the story. Xpeld has done one
exceptional job.
Track 7: Strapped.....the
musicianship just pumps out of this one - this
is where Xpeld shows what they have inside their
heart and souls to give to all of us. And it
shows the instrumental expertise and talent this
group of musicians possess. Track 8: Hold
Me.....here is the track that made
the music video a tremendous hit. Another
favorite, it's all there in the musicianship and
in the vocals. Track 11: After
Midnite.....you like speed? then you
will love this one, its got a turbo driven ride
that just keeps going. Track 12: Another
Day.....got to admit to a favorite.
Beware when you listen to this one, not only
will vocals give you chills to the bone, but the
instruments will go on and finish the job. Its
3:51 minutes of bone chilling, spine action and
that's not saying what it does to the heart and
soul. To be honest I see this one going to the
Grammies. I mean it is HOT.
If you don't do anything else today, go down and
purchase this HOT SELLING CD 'Just
Don't Stop Me', and I wouldn't wait
too long, cause this is one CD that is NOT going
to have a long shelf life. Make sure to visit
