After their excellent studio albums, something was missing to
Truckers. And now, it's done, they did it, they have recorded
a live album, a famous live album like all the other 'true'
bands. With this live recording, Chico and his buddies have
made what many musicians would like to realize. That's why many
friends and good music lovers have come on February the 11th
at the 'Mals' in Sochaux in the east of France, near the Switzerland
border.
This place is famous because of its great sound.
So a lot of true fans came in this hall to support the band
to be able to record a true and great live cd. They wanted to
do it for a long time and as soon as they could, they didn't
hesitate and were ready to play live on stage.
There was a great audience with about one thousand people, and
the band - Prib (guitar),
JP (bass), Michon (drums), Pascal (guitar) and Chico - began
the show.

First, with 'I wanna tell you something', Truckers show that
they are really present and that they want to share their happiness
with all the audience. We can confirm, when you listen to the
cd, that they did it and they did it well! With this live recording,
Truckers give us a true and real witness of what they are able
to do on stage, in a Southern way on 'Surrender', 'Easy Life'
and 'So Long' (with a beautiful saxophone part), and also in
a Sixties-Rock n' Roll style on 'Heartbreak Hotel', 'Little
Sister', 'Summertime Blues', etc.. (a true Truckers spirit).
Truckers was at its best and has recorded one of the best moments
of its career.
This album is remarkable and their own compositions such as
'Leave me Alone', 'I believe in Silence', 'Truckers', etc
are at the same level than the great covers they made, like
'Simple Man' (Skynyrd), 'Wishing Well' (Blackfoot), 'Proud Mary'
(Creedence), 'All Right Now' (Free), and that
it really
diverse our respect ! Congratulations, Truckers men !
