PEACH: CD - 'The Real Thing'

I had the honors of reviewing Peach's CD 'The Cure For You' and thought at that time that she had a real jewel on her hands. But to my surprise this cd 'The Real Thing' is a jewel of ALL JEWELS. This CD is packed with Peach's usual dynamic vocals and with that comes the outstanding musicians with her on this cd project, it is no wonder that this CD is one hot tightly packed package. And with the outstanding and magnificent singer/songwriter/guitarist talents such as 'Peach' possesses, it's easy to end up with an superb cd as 'The Real Thing'.

As always Peach demonstrates her abilities with her powerful and emotional vocals, that expresses her lyrics from the inner core of her being. There is nothing like a raspy vocal, Peach has a way of projecting her raspiness, a little sultry tones that will chill you to the core. And forgive me for repeating but Peach carries a dramatic edge to her voice.

Every tune on this cd is definitely a big time keeper, but just to name a few: "Lie Down" is an excellent tune to get the attention of the listener.....The title track, "The Real Thing" is soooo hot and blues to the bone, the harp is chilling....."The Cure for You" is an sultry tune with some dynamic trumpet touches.....And as with all the songs on this cd the musicianship drives her vocals, lyrics and emotions further and further into our heart and souls.
